Dammit, just how many toes was she going to have to stomp on before people realized she was a Delicate Freakn’ Flower? Naomi doesn’t want to follow tradition and settle down with a violence-loving, chest thumping shapeshifter. She grew up in a household with five, testosterone laden brothers where none of the dishes ever matched, the ugly-as-sin furniture could withstand any catastrophe, and where crazy glue was bought by the case. When fate—with a snicker—makes her meet not one, but two mates, Naomi digs her heels in and refuses to do what her wolf—and her body—demands. No way is she voluntarily allowing herself to get hitched to a pair of dumbass—totally hot and muscled—lacrosse players. Can Ethan, the towering Kodiak bear, and Javier, the sexy, tanned jaguar convince this she-wolf that life with them won’t be all chaos? And can this delicate freakn’ flower unbend her prejudices enough to recognize she needs a pair of men who can handle her thorns—and her passion?  Warning: this is a hot threesome story where all the focus is on her with pleasurable consequences.

I'm afraid to say how long I've had this waiting to read on my Kindle. Let's just say it's been there awhile, and now that I read it I can't imagine what took me so long to get to it! This book was a breath of fresh air. Naomi is quite possibly one of my favorite paranormal romance/erotica heroines. She doesn't take crap from anyone and isn't afraid to tell those who have pissed her off that they have done so. I loved how hot and steamy this book was, yet the sex part wasn't the whole book and didn't happen until all the characters were ready for it. This was just one fun Menage story and I actually felt bad for the guys-Ethan and Javier because they tried so hard to win Naomi over, but nothing would work. That is also what made me love Naomi! This was no love at first sight book. Naomi fights her feelings for the guys because she wants normal and does not want a shifter for a husband. The battle of wills was great fun to read.

The one small problem I had was that halfway through this took a turn towards romantic suspense, and while I was pleasantly surprised that I didn't guess who was behind everything correctly, I just didn't think it was needed. I did like how Naomi stayed strong through it all, but I really, really, really hate it when romantic suspense story lines sneak in and surprise me, because I really have issues with that genre and tend to stay away from it.  Despite that little twist, this was just a fun read that I had read in one sitting. I can't wait to read the second book in this series!
