Character Inerview & Giveaway with Misty Evans




Please help me welcome Misty Evans back to A Buckeye Girl Reads. She was kind enough to be the first author to do a blog tour for my new book promotion company, Cozy On The Couch.

Nathan and Nila can you tell us a little bit about the book?

Nathan: Bones, ghosts, lawyers…and a sexy little shaman who drives me batshit crazy. Crazier than the ghosts.
Nila (jabbing Nathan in the ribs):It’s a love story about two soul mates finding each other on this human physical plane as well as on a metaphysical one.

Nathan when did you know that things weren’t quite right at the dig site you were on?
Nathan: From the moment I saw it. After all my years in anthropology, I’d never seen anything like that site.There were so many bones, it was like a dream come true for me. That sounds weird, doesn't it? I love bones and the stories they tell about the people who used to live here.

Nila-What was the thing that first drew you to Nathan?
Nila: His souls…he has several and they were mysterious and haunting the first time I looked in his eyes. And his hands. He has very strong, capable hands.

Nathan-What was the scariest part of the book for you?
Nathan: Me, scared? Pfft. Manly anthropologists don’t get scared.
Nila (butting in): When he saw the ghost boy standing next to me, it scared the socks off of him.

Nila What was your favorite scene with Nathan?
The love scene was incredible,but he had me at the point when we were lying in the bunk beds and he told me about his childhood. That’s when I knew he was the man for me. That our souls belonged together.

Nathan and Nila What do you want everyone to know about your story?
Nathan: The anthropologist saves the day…and gets the girl.
Nila: The shaman helps the ghosts cross over…and she and the anthropologist live happily ever after.
Nathan: Don’t give away the ending. Where’s the fun in that?
Nila: The fun is in our journey to that point, and believe me, it was quite a journey. Mudslides, angry ghosts, my grandfather . I wasn’t sure we were going to make it.
Nathan (squeezing her hand): But we did.
Nila (noticing his aura is the color of love) : Yes, we did.

About the author:
