Please help me welcome author Tessa Baily here today as a part of the blog tour for her new book, Officer off Limits which releases today!!

Title: Officer Off Limits
Author: Tessa Bailey
Genre: Romantic Suspense
Series: Line of Duty #3
Release Date: June 10, 2013
Publisher: Entangled Brazen

Synopsis:
His need to possess her is non-negotiable.
Story Brooks’ fiancé just called off their wedding two weeks before the happy day. As if that isn't bad enough, her semi-estranged father, an infamous NYPD hostage negotiator, has suffered a heart attack. Not wanting to examine her lack of emotion over the broken engagement, she hops on a plane to reconnect with her father before it’s too late. Playboy hostage negotiator Daniel Chase has never, not once, been refused by a woman, so when a debate over hospital snack foods with a delectable kindergarten teacher ends in flat-out rejection, he makes it his mission to seduce her. His only obstacle? She’s the daughter of his mentor who implicitly forbade Daniel from pursuing her. Despite her father’s warnings and Daniel’s troubled past, Daniel and Story can’t resist their intense attraction to one another. But when the reason for her fiancé’s abrupt wedding cancellation comes to light, can Story and Daniel's already forbidden relationship survive

Ten Songs on the OFFICER OFF LIMITS Playlist

When I’m plotting/writing a book, I like to create a playlist to use for inspiration. The right song can often play a huge part in enriching the characters or giving me ideas for the plot. Below are the ten songs I picked for OFFICER OFF-LIMITS and the reason I chose it J

1. When I'm With You by Best Coast – I picked this song because of its California vibe – Story is a California girl through and through. It’s also about having fun, being spontaneous which is what she and Daniel do best J

2. Johnny Got a Boom Boom by Imelda May – This is Daniel’s song. When I told my editor about how I envisioned Daniel, I told her he’s like a sexual magician. When I hear Johnny Got a Boom Boom, I think of a girl being overwhelmed by a guy’s sexuality.

3. Breakin' Up by Rilo Kiley –
For Fisher J The lyrics almost fit the novel perfectly.

4. Still Not a Player by Big Punisher –
This is mostly a joke for myself. Daniel Chase is a player (soon to be reformed when Story gets a hold of him) but the lyric “I don’t wanna be a player no more” is perfect.

5. No Scrubs by TLC –
You’ll have to read the book to get this!

6. Better Version of Me by Fiona Apple –
In chapter one, Story is jilted by her fiancé. She realizes she’s let him walk all over her and she’s started going through the motions. She vows then and there she’ll never let it happen again, to be a new, better version of herself.

7. Classy Girls by The Lumineers –
“Classy girls don’t kiss in bars you fool” – the lyric that made this song perfectly fit the book. Mostly because Story does the exact opposite ;)

8. I Found a Boy by Adele –
This song captures the story better than any of the other songs. Finding someone new, realizing you don’t need (or never needed) the person who hurt you in the first place.

9. The Consequences of Not Sleeping by Little Green Cars –
“If I crack you don’t have to put me back, but if you leave me now, I’ll die.” Something Daniel would say toward the end of the book.

10. Hey Mickey by Toni Basil – Another one you’ll have to read the book to understand J
