Tuesday Chatter: Book Blog Tours

This weeks Tuesday Chatter is about Book Blog Tours. Do you do them or do you hate them? I actually like them because I've discovered a lot of great writers that I wouldn't have normally found otherwise-Jennifer Lane and Kathleen Kole are two great examples of this. However I've been apart of a couple where the rules weren't stated up front that the giveaway was tour wide or that the review had to be positive and I hate not knowing things like that before hand.

Recently I have taken the plunge and started my own book promotion company-Cozy On The Couch, and one of the things I offer is blog tours. I only have one option up as I'm just getting started, but I was curious to know if you just delete the blog tour emails right away or  if you glance at them to see what the book being offered is. Is it an automatic no if a giveaway isn't included? For me it's a mixed bag and it really depends on what type of mood I'm in. The current book I have on tour is Soul Protector, a Paranormal Romance by Misty Evans that has ghosts, time travel and lost civilizations by Misty Evans. It's book two in a series, but works as a stand alone. Book one is also available for review, but would reading two books (even if they are short in length) automatically make you say no?

My question is ~ when doing blog tours what makes you say yes?
