Welcome to the Second Annual Dean's Day everyone! Last year instead of celebrating Valentines Day, a few bloggers decided to celebrate their favorite Winchester Brother from Supernatural- Dean "I hope your apple pie is freakin' worth it!" Winchester. Last years celebration made me watch Supernatural, and while I'm only on Season 4, but I can already appreciate the hotness that is Dean. I am so excited that I can take part in Dean's Day this year! Celebrating Dean's Day is so much more fun then celebrating boring old Valentine's day! Supernatural is on the CW on Fridays at 9:00pm and is in it's last season.
5 Reasons Why I love Dean:
5. He's the oldest sibling (like I am)
4. He has great taste in music
3. His hair.
2. His one liners make me laugh.
1. His lips (Thanks to Stacey at Stacey's Place On Earth
for pointing them out how great they are to me)
Here are a couple of great Dean pictures I found:
I couldn't find the code to get the video to show, but you have to check this out: Dean singing Eye of the Tiger. You can hear Jared laughing in the background. Priceless!
While I couldn't get the video to embed JoJo's BookCorner could-so be sure to head over to her place. She's also having a giveaway!
A Big Thank you to JoJo's BookCorner for putting Deans Day together!
In honor of Dean's Day I am giving away Nice Girls Don't Have Fangs by Molly Harper. The giveaway is open until 10:00pm February 21, 2010. You don't have to be a blog follower, but it would be nice. :) To enter the giveaway just say why you love Dean & if you are entering the giveaway or not and leave an email so I can contact you if you win. The winner will be chosen by Random. Org.
The blurb from Goodreads:
Maybe it was the Shenanigans gift certificate that put her over the edge. When children's librarian and self-professed nice girl Jane Jameson is fired by her beastly boss and handed twenty-five dollars in potato skins instead of a severance check, she goes on a bender that's sure to become Half Moon Hollow legend. On her way home, she's mistaken for a deer, shot, and left for dead. And thanks to the mysterious stranger she met while chugging neon-colored cocktails, she wakes up with a decidedly unladylike thirst for blood.Jane is now the latest recipient of a gift basket from the Newly Undead Welcoming Committee, and her life-after-lifestyle is taking some getting used to. Her recently deceased favorite aunt is now her ghostly roommate. She has to fake breathing and endure daytime hours to avoid coming out of the coffin to her family. She's forced to forgo her favorite down-home Southern cooking for bags of O negative. Her relationship with her sexy, mercurial vampire sire keeps running hot and cold. And if all that wasn't enough, it looks like someone in Half Moon Hollow is trying to frame her for a series of vampire murders. What's a nice undead girl to do?
