But when someone makes it clear that Kara’s in danger, Max has more to protect than Kara’s feelings. And now that he has her, he’s not about to let her go.

Stranded Temptation was a lot of fun and I read it almost in one sitting. I really enjoyed Max and Kara because they were both so headstrong, independent and loyal. Kara wasn't afraid to tell Max how she felt, and really had a hard time having a relationship with him outside of work. I liked watching her come to terms with her feelings, and loved that it was Max doing the chasing instead of the other way around.
I was a little worried that the story would get boring once they were rescued, but it didn't. Even though this is an erotica, it had a plot outside of the bedroom, and to me those are the best kinds of erotica romance books. :) When they got back from being rescued, Kara kept finding herself in trouble, and had no idea who would want to harm her. She and Max work together to find out who it was, and while I figured out why the person was trying to get Kara I didn't figure who it was until it was revealed-I kept guessing the wrong person. I thought that Kara was smart enough to figure out why the person was after her, so the fact that took her forever to figure it out bothered me a little, but otherwise enjoyed the story a lot
This was just a nice change of pace from all the paranormal romance I've been reading lately. Every now then a light fun read with a dash of mystery and sizzling romance is called for, and while this is the first April Angel book I have read it won't be the last.
