Darkness Falls Character Interview & Giveaway



Today I'm happy to be a part of the blog tour  run by Kismet Book Tours for The Darkness Falls Series by Krystal Wade. Today, the heroine of the series, Katriona is here to tell us about her adventures that take place in book two, Wilde's Army.  One lucky person has a chance to win ebook copies of all three books in the series!   1. Katriona can you tell us a bit about what happens to you in this book & how you got there? 
Well, I got to Encardia by accident. I should have known better, following a light through the forest. I probably did everything horror films show us not to do. But once I arrived, I quickly realized everything I'd ever known was a lie; a life meant for someone else, not for me. And even though war ravaged Encardia, I fell for the people and the land and knew I had to stay and help.


  1. What was the most challenging thing you faced?
Finding my place. Being told you're the key to bringing Light to a world smothered in Darkness—well, to a girl raised on a horse farm in Virginia, that's pretty overwhelming.

  1. What was the most fun thing you did?
Fun . . . let me think. Realizing I knew how to swordfight because of the training I experienced in my dreams was pretty cool.

  1. Can you tell us about Perth and Arland? 
When I first met Perth, I thought he was a total creep. He also tried to kill me. But after we worked together to find all the missing Draíochtans, I knew there was more to him than he allowed people to see.
And Arland? He's kind, and smart, and loyal to his people. He's patient and understanding . . . I'm embarrassing myself.

  1. What challenges will you have to face in the future? 
The future. Everyone always asks about the future. I hate not knowing, and I hate that my mother knows everything, but some days, I'd prefer not to think about it. Because I know I have to kill my friend, I know people I've become friends with and love might die, and I know that life will never be the same.

Krystal Wade can be found in the sluglines outside Washington D.C. every morning, Monday through Friday. With coffee in hand, iPod plugged in, and strangers–who sometimes snore, smell, or have incredibly bad gas–sitting next to her, she zones out and thinks of fantastical worlds for you and me to read. How else can she cope with a fifty mile commute?
