Guest post by Jeff Christopher (shifter) and author Chloe Neill: Introducing: Team Jeff

One of my  favorite authors, Chloe Neill has a new book being released on July 6th-Twice Bitten, book three in the Chicagoland Vampire Series. In the first two books, everyone fell in love with one of three guys in series: Ethan, Master of Cadogan House, Morgan, Master of Navarre House or Catcher, sorcerer extraordinaire and boyfriend of Merit's best friend. Teams were formed. We all know that I am Team Ethan, however, there was someone who felt very left out of all the team forming. Sit back and get to know Jeff Christopher, Shifter and Charmer.

I. Am. The. Man. (by Jeff Christopher)

*Waves* What is up, ladies? I am Jeff Christopher, a shifter by name and reputation. *wiggles eyebrows* I'm also a member of the esteemed Ombudsman's office, and a friend to all sorts of nymphs, shifters and vamps.

So, I hear folks are joining up into Teams for folks in the Chicagoland community--Ethan and Morgan and maybe CB? (That's Catcher Bell, FYI).  Chloe asked if I'd come make a pitch for good ol' Team Jeff, so here I am.

Although, do you really need convincing?

Like I said, I'm a shifter and a member of the North American Central Pack. They're good people, and I'm good people. Shifters have, you know, this relationship with the world. *voice softens* We kind of get what's going on out there--the trees, the single-forms, the water, the sky. To paraphrase Tennyson, I am a part of all that I have seen, and all that jazz. You know? *Shrugs* So I bring something pretty unique to a relationship.

I'm also, you know, wicked skilled on the keys. *Stretches his fingers* You want to talk binary, output, input, interface, Facebook, Linux, architecture, compliance, what have you--and I'm your man. You need in? I'll get you in. You need to disappear? I can help you out. All of it's completely above-board, though. I love Chuck--that's Chuck Merit, my boss--and I don't want him in the drink because I wasn't careful.

*grins slowly*  But I'm always--I can't stress that enough, ladies--always careful.

But these are weird times, you know? And I know you need to be choosey about how you spend your time. But I'm definitely worth it.

Now. *blushing* There is one thing. There's . . . kind of . . . this girl.

I know, I know. Like a prof like me has time for chicks. But she's kind of . . . well . . . different.

Who is she?

*Looks at Chloe* Did you tell them? I mean, you talk about it in TWICE BITTEN, right?

*Chloe nods* Yep.

Well, then. I guess you'll just have to grab that book. But she's just . . . I mean, wow.

It's good when a girl makes a guy speechless, right?

So, anyway. *Pumps fist into air* Team Jeff!

Thank you so much Chloe and Jeff for stopping by today! I don't know about everyone else, but I am so on Team Jeff now! Isn't he great??  Smexybooks talks about Team Catcher  (Jeffs Co Worker and Sorcerer extraordinaire) and is giving away lots of swag over at her place! Go and check it to win lots of cool stuff from Chloe.

   BOOK THREE: TWICE BITTEN

 (Synopsis taken from Goodreads)
Merit, Chicago’s newest vampire, is learning how to play well with others. Other supernaturals, that is. Shapeshifters from across the country are convening in the Windy City, and as a gesture of peace, Master Vampire Ethan Sullivan has offered their leader a very special bodyguard: Merit. Merit is supposed to protect the Alpha, Gabriel Keene—and to spy for the vamps while she’s at it. Oh, and luckily Ethan’s offering some steamy, one-on-one combat training sessions to help her prepare for the mission.
Merit must accept the assignment, even though she knows that she’ll probably regret it. And she’s not wrong. Someone is gunning for Gabriel Keene, and Merit soon finds herself in the line of fire. She’ll need all the help she can get to track down the would-be assassin, but everywhere she turns, there are rising tensions between supernaturals—not least between her and a certain green-eyed, centuries old master vampire.
